SRQ utilizes the latest digital equipment and technology in completing its assignments. Combinations of total station surveys, GPS control, aerial photography and digital mapping are used to complete field survey assignments and to collect and co-ordinate pre-engineering data. SRQ utilizes software for hydraulic and hydrologic modelling, highway design, co-ordinate geometry, digital terrain modelling, earthworks and landscaping. This software is used to complete surveying and engineering calculations and to automate the design process. Engineering and surveying drawings are prepared in standard digital formats, such as AutoCad Map and Land Development Desktop.
